ROCK STARS

Often popular mainstream musicians will say that they love what they do, are passionate about music and performing in front of a live audience, yet won't do any of the aforementioned unless they're paid a substantial sum for their appearance. You hear of some musicians raking in tens of millions of dollars each after they've completed their tours. Some of those performers don't even bother to put forth the effort to sing, but lazily lip sync to their own songs instead. If they truly loved what they were doing, is it absolutely necessary for "entertainers" to charge much more than what they need to get comfortably by on for their tickets?

The bottom line is that successful music performers are no better than greedy company CEO's.
